Samuel is BOTEC’s Director of Finance and C.S.R. His main duties include internal financial reporting, risk mitigation, accounts management, and management of project profitability. Samuel also spearheads BOTEC’s C.S.R. initiatives, ensuring active compliance with regulatory and ethical standards, as well as maximizing BOTEC’s positive social impact and financial performance, whilst minimizing any negative environmental or social impacts of our work. Samuel remains actively involved in ongoing client projects, both as a manager and as a coordinator. He has written for BOTEC’s online division on environmental issues related to marijuana and hemp cultivation, drug policy, and policing. Samuel was educated in the UK and the USA. He holds a BA from the University of Southampton and an MSc from the University of Edinburgh, as well as a Professional Certificate in Global Sustainability from the University of California, Los Angeles. His interests include Social Ventures, Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Justice and Environmental Politics and Policy.
